ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – Full time Position
Kiowa County Road & Bridge is taking applications for Administrative Assistant. This position works at the general direction of the Public Works Supervisor and performs a wide variety of routine and complex clerical and administrative tasks in the management of all of the divisions of Public Works, including Road and Bridge, Solid Waste, and Noxious Weed. Must have knowledge of computers, Windows, Word, Excel, Quicken and multiple software packages. Must be skilled in budgeting, accounting, keeping written records, maintain a running inventory of chemical herbicides, and pesticides. Responsible for accounts payable and receivable, recording and reporting employee work hours, preparing FEMA and KDEM reports on disasters, communicating with the public and employees on the telephone and radio.
