[vc_row bg_type=”no_bg”][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Kiowa County Road and Bridge department maintains the asphalt, sand, and gravel roads of rural Kiowa County. These roads are vital to the county’s economy and are depended upon by many of the county’s largest industries. From traditional industries such as agriculture and oil and gas to newer ventures such as wind farms that harvest clean energy from our natural resources, many employers use these roads to conduct their daily business. In addition to the roadways themselves, the department also looks after their associated bridges and ditches.
Any work that may disturb a county road must be approved by the county’s Road Supervisor. If you are planning any such work, please review and complete the appropriate form(s) listed below:
Section Corner Monument Excavation Application
Entrance Permit Application
Utility Right of Way Permit Application
Completed forms may be faxed, e-mailed, or hand delivered to the Road and Bridge offices using the contact information below. If you have any questions regarding the application process, please contact the Kiowa County Highway Department at 620-723-2531.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row bg_type=”no_bg”][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]
